For instance, in my experience with HAWX Tom Clancy’s, the small joystick allowed me to switch between the weapons available, and three of the buttons surrounding it served me to cast lures, pick enemies where to target, and one for launching the ammunition.

The silver base, Logitech includes 4 more buttons and an adjustable control. In the game HAWX these buttons allow us to access the game options, display the map / radar or activate / deactivate voice commands and adjustable control gives extra acceleration and power, and vice versa.

Aircraft in games is important to feel a need to control the device, be aware that descend / ascend, viraremos, and know that the answer will be faster or slower depending on what we need. The Freedom 2.4 provides that, a sharp control of an airplane, and easy coordination, with a gamepad, at least to me, is more “in-manageable” in this type of game. The lever (or rudder) not only has a circular movement in all directions, but also provides additional control just slightly turn on itself, to the side, a detail that in games like HAWX merely serves to correct the trajectory slightly, and that is very useful when, for example, we abate various ground targets.

The joystick works with 3 AA batteries, which will self correct. Of course, another important part we can play is to connect the PC’s USB port 2.4 GHz wireless receiver. Wireless products, although more expensive, are better than wired solutions, not only taking into account the convenience of no wires involved, but as the most validity if we have the PC in the lounge and enjoy TV games 32 “or more. In fact, the gaming experience greatly enriched if we run a set of planes on large screens, and there will be vital to the viewing distance.

Logitech Freedom 2.4 Joystick is a good product for titles such as Tom Clancy’s HAWX, Skydrift, or Warbirds, yet strangely I could not handle the game JASF. In my opinion, if you’re into flight simulator …. This joystick is highly recommended.
